A great thing about this boar is that it excels in perfect flat waters and consistent winds, as well as in less than perfect conditions like gusts and chop.
The compact, slightly straighter outline with rounded tips makes it very dynamic and agile and enhances its upwind and early planing potential. A hydrodynamic rocker line reduces water drag, optimizing the board shape directly to the water flow, increasing overall speed and acceleration. An Elliptical Progressive Concave blends the advantages of both a flat-bottomed board and concave.
The tail section is flat while the center one features a concave. This improves early planing, as well as stability and makes the ride smoother. The 50/Fifty is built using a special 3D technology which allows more flex in selected areas of the board. This translates into shorter reaction time and better response plus a more comfortable ride.
The board is crafted using a Paulownia wood core complemented by ABS sidewalls, triaxial glass fiber layers and Carbon and Kevlar stringers. This structure eliminates vibrations during the ride and provides excellent pop, quick response and optimal torsion.
